Part-Time Driver

Due to expanding our delivery operation, we have an opportunity for a part-time driver to work Friday, Saturday and Mondays from our Redruth site

£6.80 per hour (rising to £7.07 after successful completion of probationary period) plus bonus

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable driver who will deliver food and non-food items to our customers, who are based in Cornwall and Devon.  Often following a dedicated delivery route, you will also be responsible for all associated paperwork.  You will manage the day-to-day relationship with our customers and be expected to promote the business in a positive manner.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

•   At least 1 year’s experience of driving a 7.5 tonne van

• Digital Tachograph experience is essential

•   No more than 3 points on your licence

•  Be focused to reach targets and get things done

You will work approximately 28 hours per week, between the hours of 6.00am and 4.00pm, Friday, Saturday and Monday. Working hours will vary slightly due to the delivery rota and traffic conditions, but it is anticipated you will work 9¼ hours on Friday and Saturday and 8¼ hours on a Monday. 

Full time salary equates to £15,625 per annum.  Bonus scheme available, subject to meeting reporting requirements, which potentially pays out £432 per annum.
